Ascending Aortic Aneurysm

An ascending aortic aneurysm is a condition in which the upper portion of the aorta, the body's largest artery, becomes weakened and enlarges beyond its normal size. This enlargement increases the risk of serious complications, including aortic dissection or rupture, both of which require immediate medical attention. The condition often develops gradually and may not produce noticeable symptoms during its early stages.
