Body Composition Imbalance

Body composition imbalance refers to an unhealthy ratio between fat mass and lean mass (muscles, bones, organs, and water) in the body. When fat mass is disproportionately high relative to lean mass, individuals face elevated risks for cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome.
