Tendon & Ligament Disorders

Tendon and ligament problems impact soft tissue structures that transmit force and stabilise joints. Ligaments tie bones together, preserving joint alignment and preventing excessive mobility, whereas tendons attach muscles to bones, allowing movement. These tissues can sustain injuries like sprains, strains, tendinitis, tendinosis, subluxations, or total ruptures when they are overextended, ripped, or under prolonged stress.

Localised pain, swelling, discomfort, bruises, stiff joints, and decreased strength or range of motion in the affected area are typical symptoms. These conditions frequently result from age-related degeneration, poor biomechanics, repetitive overuse, or severe trauma.
