Testicular Torsion

This situation is a medical emergency. This rapid twist causes a lot of discomfort and swelling in the scrotum, and it can also make you feel sick and throw up. The illness mostly affects boys and men between the ages of 12 and 18, but it can happen to anyone, even babies. If the twisting isn't fixed right away, it might cut off blood flow and damage or even lose the testicle. This occurrence usually means that the testicle needs emergency surgery to untwist and secure it.

Some of the symptoms are abrupt, acute pain in the scrotum, swelling, testicles that are too high or at an unusual angle, and stomach trouble. Time is crucial. Treatment within six hours usually protects the testicle, but waiting more than twelve hours greatly increases the risk of permanent injury and loss.
Surgery entails untwisting the cord and repairing the testicle so that it doesn't happen again. If not treated right away, it can lead to testicular death and problems with fertility.
