Bladder Cancer

What causes bladder stones, what do they feel like, and how do you treat them?

When the bladder doesn't empty all the way, hard mineral deposits called bladder stones accumulate in it. They might be different sizes and hurt if they aren't treated.
Some common symptoms are painful urination, a strong need to urinate, trouble passing urine, blood in urine, and pain in the lower abdomen. If stones restrict the passage of urine, some patients may feel very uncomfortable.

Imaging studies like ultrasounds, X-rays, or CT scans can confirm the diagnosis. Urine tests can also find infections or other problems that cause stones to form.

Drinking a lot of water, treating any underlying urinary issues, and eating a balanced diet are all ways to avoid complications. To keep the bladder healthy and stop the problem from coming again, it is important to find it early and treat it quickly.

If you don't treat bladder stones, they could cause infections that keep coming back or problems with your kidneys. Getting care from a urologist is safe and effective.
